Assignment ESSAY ( students should consider while applying university) give factors.

As we know in our country, Malaysia, got a lot of university since it is a develop country. Although the private university expenses is highly cost compared to the goverment university, there is a lot of student still studying in private university. The students should consider many factors while applying to the university such as whether the university certificated or not by the Ministry of Education, facilities that university offered and not just influenced by their friends. So that, students should considers many view of factors.

Firstly, students should know whether the university is certificate or not by the Ministry of Education. This is because, some university is not certificated by and it is worthless. Students will waste their time by studying at non- certificated university. When they finished study, the company that they are apply for a job, will doubt and query their abilities and skills of the students. Lastly, students will depress and stress about the situation happened to them.

Secondly, one of the factor they should consider is facility of the university itself. Some the university did not provide food and bevarage, tansportation, library, IT lab, mosque, laundry, uncondusive hostel and a narrow classes. Should the students want to study in this condition? No, right. All the student want the best and confortable for thier study place. So, students should consider all the facility of the university itself before entering the university.

Mostly students that enter the university just because influenced by their friends and how famous the university itself. They are not consider what the course they want to take and study. Futhermore, students nowadays do not want to study if there is no friends. It is so bad attitude because it will make them failed for their life. Sometimes when the course did not have many student, there was no lecturer to teach them. As a result, the course will be dropped and the students must find another course. It not just wasting their time but also wasted their money. Finally, before choosing the university, students should do a research before applying the university and not influenced by others.

Prostate gland enlargement is a common condition as men get older. Also called

benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostatic hypertrophy, prostate gland

enlargement can cause bothersome urinary symptoms. Untreated prostate gland

enlargement can block the flow of urine out of the bladder and can cause bladder,

urinary tract or kidney problems.

Prostate gland enlargement symptoms include:

■Weak urine stream

■Difficulty starting urination

■Stopping and starting while urinating

■Dribbling at the end of urination

■Frequent or urgent need to urinate

■Increased frequency of urination at night (nocturia)

■Straining while urinating

Pneumothorax

A pneumothorax (a term for collapsed lung) occurs when air leaks into the space

between a lungs and chest wall, creating pressure against the lung. Depending on

the cause of the pneumothorax, lung may only partially collapse, or it may collapse.

Signs and symptoms of a pneumothorax usually include:

■Sudden, sharp chest pain on the same side as the affected lung — this pain

doesn't occur in the center of your chest under the breast bone

■Shortness of breath, which may be more or less severe, depending on how

much of your lung is collapsed

■A feeling of tightness in your chest

■A rapid heart rate

There are several types of pneumothorax:

■Primary spontaneous pneumothorax.when a small air blister (bleb)

on the top of the lung ruptures.

■Secondary spontaneous pneumothorax. This develops in people who

already have a lung disorder, especially emphysema, which

 progressively damages your lungs

■Traumatic pneumothorax. Any blunt or penetrating injury to your chest

 can cause lung collapse.
■Tension pneumothorax.occurs when the pressure in the pleural space

is greater than the atmospheric pressure, either because air becomes

trapped in the pleural space or because the entering air is from a

 positive-pressure mechanical ventilator.

Septicaemia

Septicaemia is a potentially life-threatening infection in which large amounts of

bacteria are present in the blood. It is commonly referred to as blood poisoning.

Septicaemia usually arises as a result of localised infection in the body. The primary

site of infection may occur in the respiratory system, the skin, the gastrointestinal

system or the genitourinary system. It may coincide with very aggressive

infections such as meningitis.Bacteria usually spill over from the primary infection

site into the blood and are carried throughout the body thereby spreading infection

to various systems of the body.

Infection spreads throughout the body via the blood stream.

The symptoms of Septicaemia:
  • Fever and chills.
  • Drenching sweats may occur.
  • The heart rate and respiratory rate (number of breaths per minute) risefeve.
  •  Feelings of weakness.
  •  Feel very cold and clammy.
  • The blood pressure starts to fall and the person may lapse into unconsciousness.
  •  Petechiae.

and spinal cord. It is usually caused by bacteria or viruses, but it can also be caused

by certain medications or illnesses. There is a two type first is Bacterial meningitis.

Its is rare, but is usually serious and can be life-threatening if it's not treated right away.

Second is Viral meningitis (also called aseptic meningitis) is relatively common and far

less serious. It often remains undiagnosed because its symptoms can be similar

to thoseof the common flu.The most common causes are Group B streptococcus,

Escherichiacoli, and Listeria monocytogenes. In older kids, Streptococcus

pneumoniae (pneumococcus) and Neisseria meningitidis (meningococcus)

 are more often the causes.

Common symptoms include:

•fever

•lethargy (decreased consciousness)

•irritability

•headache

that occurs when fluid builds up behind the eardrum. There are three main types

of ear infections each has a different combination of symptoms, there are :

  1. Acute otitis media (AOM) is the most common ear infection parts of the middle
ear are infected and swollen and fluid is trapped behind the eardrum. This

causes pain in the ear and might associated with fever.

2. Seconds is Otitis media with effusion (OME) happens after an ear infection has

run its course and fluid stays trapped behind the eardrum

3.  lastly is Chronic otitis media with effusion (COME) happens when fluid remains

in the middle ear for a long time or returns over and over again.

H1N1

There is no doubt that H1N1 was the most covered health issue in the media in

2009and is still being reported as this flu strain is still on the go although its activity

has decreasedsignificantly compared to earlier in the year As of August 21 2009,

there have been 68 H1N1deaths reported in Malaysia, which is the second highest

in Southeast Asia, with Thailand reporting 111 reported deaths. There have been

2,475 H1N1 fatalities in 62 countries to date. With reports of a second wave

probable make sure that you take every precaution and effort to look after your

family and ensure that they know how to protect themselves by washing their

hands, covering their hands and nose when sneezing or coughing and to

 use disinfectants frequently.

AIDS

`In April, the International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific met in Bali

about the desperate need to reduce the rate of AIDS infections in Southeast Asia

which is continuously rising at a frightening rate, and announced that 1.5 million

women were affected and 50 million wereat risk. The risk is for women who work

in the sex industry and more shockingly, the women who are put at risk by their

husbands and boyfriends who sleep around or are clients of sex workers. 90 per

cent of women who suffer from HIV or AIDS in Southeast Asia are infected by

their husbands and boyfriends. Definitely food for thought.

Dental Health

Dental health in Malaysia is a big worry as many Malaysians don’t appear to be

aware of the importance in looking after their teeth and gums and this cavalier

attitude means that they are risking complications such as gingivitis, cavities and

gum disease. On top of that, the Malaysian Ministry of Health announced that

NINE out of ten Malaysians suffer fromtooth decay and gum disease which is

astounding, and it has been put down to ignorance by the Malaysia Oral Health

Status Survey.Early checkups and regular visits to the dentist can prevent gum

disease and bad dental hygiene. So put a sparkle into your smile in 2010 and

make sure that you brush your teeth two times a day, floss and use mouth

wash on a daily basis.

Obesity

Obesity is a growing problem across the globe with 1.2 billion people classified

as overweight and 250 million obese. Obesity in Malaysia was once relatively rare,

but it is increasing significantly (especially among children) mainly due to people

having an inactive lifestyle and excessive calorie intake. The surge of obesity

amongst children aroundthe world, in short, foretells a global explosion of illnesses

that will drain economies, produce enormous suffering and cause millions of

premature deaths. One of WHO's strategicobjectives, along with the Malaysian

government's plan this year, was to review the current status of obesity prevention,

control activities and making sure a comprehensive programme to be adopted.

Osteoporosis

Also known as the silent disease, osteoporosis affects many women,

“in particular Asian women are the most vulnerable to this disease and

that statistically only 25% will regain full control of the physical functions,

” we were told by Dr. Lee Joon Kiong, who is president o the Malaysian

Osteoporosis society. Here in Malaysia, over one million people are at risk

and it has also been predicted that over 50 per cent of osteoporotic fractures

will occur in Asia by the year 2050.Therefore in July, there were many

campaigns such as Fonterra’s hi-calcium brand Anlene, who launched

'Listen to your bones' campaign, which aimed to educate Malaysian

women on how important it is to take care of their bones

 to prevent this debilitating disease.

Diabetes

This disease which doesn’t have cure is when the body doesn’t make or use insulin properly.

It is estimated that there are 180 million people around the World who suffer from diabetes

and the World Health Organisation (WHO) claims that it will almost double by 2030

without intervention. There are currently 1.2 million Malaysians with diabetes with roughly

24,000 people with type 1 insulin dependent and 90 percent of the 1.2 million with type 2.

With the numbers of people who are obese increasing, it is clear that the numbers of those

at risk of diabetes and those who are suffering from it, is also increasing. Being obese or

overweight is a key factor to the raising numbers of people with diabetes.Diabetes can be

avoided, unless it is caused by genetics, but the lifestyle in this modern era makes its

easierfor people to contract this disease.

Cervical Cancer

As many Malaysian women don’t have regular Pap smear test

done, which should be part of their routine health checks, this

topic was reported a lot in the media as many women suffer

from cervical cancer which could have been detected earlier

with the routine test. The Health Minister,Datuk Seri Liow Tiong

urges women to have these tests done as they can save

your life. The Health Ministry also announced that HPV

(human papillomavirus) vaccination against cancer of the

cervix will also be provided to 13-year-old girls in

2010 and urges them to take advantage of this.

most popular junk food is instant noodle because it is cheap,

easy to cook and got a nice flavour. Did you think is it instant
